If you’ve found your way here, I want you to know what exists and is possible for you, because I didn’t know. Whatever you’re carrying—questions, pain, emptiness, or curiosity—there is real hope for you and you’re not alone.
I was once drowning in the waters of the world. It was like there was a weight attached to my ankles consistently pulling me down. I was treading, just trying to come up every once in a while for air. Exhausted. Heavy. Hopeless. I searched the world to find lasting hope but every time I thought I found it, it would fade as quickly as I reached out my hand to grab it. Always slipping through my fingers like the mighty waters pulling me under. I wondered if real hope existed, a kind that lasts. My search for it in this world only left me emptier than before.
I reached the end. There was nothing I could do to save me, and there was no one in this world who could save me either. I exhausted all options. I couldn’t tread the water anymore and breathed my last in that hopeless state. As my desperate hand went under the water for the last time, a hand came down from heaven, grabbed a hold of me and pulled me from the water.
There was a great resuscitation. The breath of life was breathed into me and I came out of that water a new creation. Right when I thought I reached the end, I reached the beginning: new life where the striving ceased and the treading ended. Where Living Hope brought my dry bones to life, and Living Water rushed through my dehydrated soul and resuscitated me.
This was not the hope I had searched for; it was better and beyond all I could ask or imagine. A hope that has a heartbeat. A hope that penetrates the caverns of the soul and does not flicker, but shines a light into the deepest shadows, the places previously kept hidden. A hope that finds a home in you and you in it. And to my surprise, flowing from this Living Hope is real joy, peace and strength, for it is not from this world but from above.
The current of the world can feel overwhelming, pulling you in every direction. It sucks you dry and pulls you down.
But God.
He pulls you up. He offers something different: a steady, life-giving flow of hope, truth, love, and renewal in and through Jesus Christ. He is the Lifeboat. Now is the time to get in. What I didn’t know was that this gift isn’t merely a ticket to heaven, but changes everything right here, right now.
This is what is available to you. This is not reserved for a select few. It is the inheritance of every child of God.
If you want to begin a relationship with Jesus or have drifted, you simply come back to Him as you are: in your brokenness, in the mess you’re in, in your ugliest moment, your hidden failures, your shame and guilt, your addictions, your fears, your deepest regrets.
God sees you.
God loves you.
He knows your story.
You’re not too much for Him.
He hasn’t given up on you.
His love and kindness meet you right where you’re at.
Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. Jesus is coming back soon. Now is the time to return to Him, to return Home. There are no perfect words; only a willing heart.
When you come to Christ with a surrendered heart, you won’t be able to stop yourself from the incredible transformation of His Spirit within you.
Do not be surprised when Living Hope courses through the caverns of your soul, healing what human hands cannot touch. Do not be surprised when rivers of Living Water flow from your heart. Do not be surprised when you no longer have to come up for air because the breath of life flows through you. Do not be surprised when the striving ceases and you can finally be still. Do not be surprised when you have peace and joy amidst your difficult circumstances. Do not be surprised by the song that rises in your soul, even in the night.
Eternal life begins the moment you believe.
It is the fervent prayer of my heart that you would receive the free gift of salvation through His marvelous grace and experience Living Hope from this time forth and forevermore.
Let the treading end and the striving cease!
Home at last, into the Current of Peace.

He reached down from on high and rescued me; He drew me out of deep waters.
